For almost fifteen years, Tom and Robin of Florida have impacted lives by serving on mission teams, distributing medications throughout the world, helping others set up and maintain internet systems, and giving so that others could receive medication through teams, hospitals, and charitable clinics domestically and internationally.

Blessings: What first inspired you to give?

Tom and Robin: About five years ago, I received an email about one of Blessings International’s campaigns and was immediately drawn to its mission. I was impressed by the organization’s commitment to keeping administrative costs low so that the majority of each donation goes directly to the people and programs in need. It felt like a cause I could truly believe in.

Blessings: Why do you give?

Tom and Robin: Giving is our way of helping those who are suffering. We appreciate that some of Blessing International’s efforts support people domestically, as well as abroad. While there is tremendous need in many parts of the world, being able to help within our own country through Blessings International has been especially meaningful to us.

Blessings: Which causes are closest to your heart—and why?

Tom and Robin: We are especially passionate about supporting Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, as well as causes that help those in need here in the U.S. [In addition,] we partner with Missionaries of the Poor, based in Kingston, Jamaica, and with their apostolates around the globe, making it deeply rewarding to see Blessings International’s impact reach both international and domestic communities.

Blessings: What is your favorite aspect of Blessings International?

Tom and Robin: We deeply admire how Blessings International combines faith, medicine, and service—empowering missions around the world to bring both healing and hope to vulnerable communities.

We are so appreciative of our donors! They are the lifeblood of our “above and beyond” work, supporting teams to have greater medical impact. This can be seen anywhere from providing free antimalarials to compensating teams for emergency disaster relief orders.

You too can be a part of Blessings International's impact upon the nations!
