We are saddened by the passing of our former finance officer, Robert “Bob” Stanton. He passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 95.

Mr. Stanton was Blessings International’s financial officer for seven years, from 2008 until 2015, when he retired at the age of 86. He was greatly involved in navigating the finances for constructing our custom warehouse/office building, which was completed in 2010. Later, when our founder was retiring, Mr. Stanton was instrumental in coordinating the search committee for a new chief executive officer. He wanted to ensure the legacy begun by Dr. Harold Harder was continued with excellence by the right candidate. He served along side the new CEO, Dr. Barry Ewy, for two years before retiring, and later served on Blessings International’s advisory council.

Mr. Stanton is fondly remembered at Blessings International. The effort and heart he put into the organization continue to have an impact on staff, partners, and those we serve.

We are thankful for Mr. Stanton’s life and service, not only to Blessings International, but also the areas he served God, from Alaska to Pakistan. Please join us in praying for his family.

His memorial service will be at Asbury Church, Tulsa, OK, at 10:00am, June 8. The service will be live-streamed here. Please see his obituary here and share a tribute if you had the privilege of knowing Mr. Stanton.
