All medicines and vitamins packaged through our medication repackaging service (MRS) are now available with maximum beyond-use dates! Packets now have a twenty-four-month span of usage, compared to the previous eighteen-month span.
An extra six months of medication for a person with diabetes or hypertension, for example, is significant, and so we’re excited for this advancement. Over recent months and years, we've steadily moved forward to increase the beyond-use dates on the medication repackaging service, as we know what an important resource this is for teams and patients alike.
MRS is a special service which packages, labels, and seals individual packets of vitamins, diabetes medicine, high blood pressure medicine, and analgesics. Labeling is available in twenty-two languages, and packets can come in quantities of thirty, sixty, or ninety tablets. Beyond-use dates are determined from the time of packaging.
