Blessings International has an ever increasing need for volunteers which are needed to do simple chores that increase the efficiency of our staff while at the same time hold down our operating costs. If you would like to volunteer, please call Blessings, 250-8101, give us your name, the way you would like to volunteer for Blessings, and when you would be available to help. Blessings will then let you know when we are prepared to put your gracious service to good use.

1. Mailings:

Typically once a month, Blessings needs help with mailings. This involves applying address labels, stuffing and stamping the envelopes, and finally organizing the mailings by zip codes. Depending upon the size of the mailing, these operations require between 3 to 6 hours to complete.

2. Labeling bottles:

There is now an ongoing need for volunteers to help label bottles of medicines. We ask such volunteers to be carefully apply labels so that they are straight on the bottles. Such labeling is being required to meet regulations of some of the medicines Blessings stocks. Labeling typically requires 2 to 4 hours, but sometimes a day or longer in order to complete. Please call to schedule volunteer time for labeling.

3. Boxing or traying newly labeled medicine bottles:

After labeling, some bottles of medicine need to be boxed or trayed, meaning that 12 bottles would be placed into boxes and sealed, or placed onto trays and wrapped with cellophane. It is anticipated that such occasional efforts would require a half to a full day.

4. Computer services:

Blessings has a wide variety of computer services which need constant attention, from simple tasks such as updating mailing lists to very creative tasks as helping to update various web pages.

5. Various computer projects that could be done from home.
